What We're All About

Tele Lakay is saying “Enough is enough”. The crime rate in our communities is steadily growing, our young people are dropping out of school more and more, interest in the arts are at an all time low. The youth are lacking venues to showcase their intellect and accolades.

It is now the hour to invest in our youth, re-educate them in the arts, and promote self-worth. Fact is, our communities are in need of quality family entertainment that uplifts and educates.For this reason, Tele Lakay will display  “Undiscovered Talent” with “Island Star”.

On this program we will showcase Caribbean or if you prefer Island talent; these young people are America’s best kept secret. The 2007 season is our maiden season. We promise to bring hope to every living room.

Island Star will be hosted by the beautiful and talented “Diana Bien-Aime”. Island Star is the creation of Ed Shakespierre, the well known producer of the movie Se Lavi and many shows on Tele Lakay.

 

Our Show will air on Tele Lakay and right here on our website. Our motto is to educate, uplift and entertain our community.Island Star is projected to build a home location for over 3 million viewers, part of an even greater initiative to ensure future Caribbean representation. West Indian nations will soon be visible enough in America and the world to create their own opportunities. We are leading thousands to discover their self-worth and renewed interest in the arts.
